The University of the Aegean is the only university in Greece and one of the very few in the world that operates as a university-network, being based on different islands of the Aegean Sea. The quality of the education, the research excellence, the innovative scientific fields pursued by our departments, and the modern curricula are some of the distinguishing characteristics of this University. The Department of Information and Communication Systems Eng. is one of the 3 departments comprising the School of Sciences located in the island of Samos. The AI-Lab gathers and coordinates all activities of the faculty members concerning AI related themes of research and teaching. The members of the AI-Lab contact high-quality research in several emergent topics through international collaborations.
